Effective fitness programs should include 3 major components: Cardiovascular exercises to primarily burn calories and increase stamina, strength training activities that promote muscle building, and flexibility or stretching exercises to help prevent injury (ACE, 2013).
Today’s world is the most competitive and toughest one; each and every individual hardly finds enough time to keep themselves fit by way of physical exercise or by using sophisticated modern health equipments that may be supportive to keep their body healthier.
The program prepares graduates in teaching K-12 children in the performance and understanding of basic motor skills, games and lifelong fitness activities, wellness, nutrition, decision-making, as well as the social and personal skills related to participating in physical activities.
In addition to coursework, students will engage in a variety of internships and experiential learning opportunities that will train them how to assess and promote health and physical activity across the lifespan through preventative and therapeutic methods.
